Bang Bang Grilled Shrimp Skewers

This delicious bang bang grilled shrimp skewer recipe is drizzled with a Sriracha and honey sauce over a bed of Asian slaw.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup low-fat mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup Thai sweet red chili sauce
  • 3 drops Sriracha sauce
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 lb. large shrimp peeled and deveined
  • 1 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1/4 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground pepper
  • 2 10.5 ounce Asian slaw mix

Instructions 

  • Preheat grill to 350F to 400F (medium high) heat.
  • In a small bowl combine mayonnaise, chili sauce, Sriarcha and honey, mixing well. Set aside.
  • Thread shrimp on metal or wooden soaked wooden skewers. Brush evenly with olive oil; season with salt and pepper. Grill shrimp on a lightly greased grill rack, covered with grill lid, 2 minutes per side or until shrimp turn pink. Serve over slaw and drizzle with chili sauce.

Notes

Testing note: I used the package Asian slaw mix in the produce section with all of the lettuces and bagged slaws.
