Instructions
Combine all sauce ingredients in a saucepan and let come to a boil. Reduce to a simmer and cook uncovered for approximately 2 hours, stirring occasionally. The mixture will thicken and reduce a bit. Store in the fridge until ready to use.
Prepare your grill to about medium-high (About 450-f degrees surface temperature). Grill the chicken for approx. 30-35 minutes, flipping every 10 minutes. Wait to add the barbecue sauce until it has only about 10 minutes left to grill. Slather on the sauce to all sides of the drumstick, close the lid on the grill and finish cooking.
