112ozbag of milk chocolate chipsyou can also use dark chocolate chips, if you prefer
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees fahrenheit (176 degrees celsius). Using a cookie scoop or one tablespoon, scoop cookie dough, then shape cookie dough into balls, placing 2 inches apart on a greased cookie sheet.
Bake 10-11 minutes or until light golden brown (cookies will be undercooked so they can be shaped again into balls). Let cookies cool 5 minutes on baking sheet, then with buttered hands (you can also spray your hands with cooking spray), shape each cookie into a ball. Refrigerate cookies for 10-15 minutes or until completely cooled.
While cookies are cooling, line a baking sheet with waxed or parchment paper, then set aside.
In a medium bowl, microwave chocolate chips for 60-90 seconds, stirring until smooth.
Remove cookies from the refrigerator and dip each ball into melted chocolate using two spoons, making sure to cover each ball entirely. Place each dipped ball on the prepared baking sheet. Refrigerate truffles 10-15 minutes or until set.
