Slow Cooker Beer & Brat Cheese Dip Recipe


  • 1 package of Johnsonville Brats cut into small pieces
  • 12 oz of favorite beer
  • 32 oz chicken broth you may not use all of it, depends on consistency you want
  • 4 bags shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 tbsp minced garlic
  • 1 1/2 tsp worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tbsp onion powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • 1 tsp crushed red pepper flakes
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/3 cup cornstach
  • green onion sliced (for garnish)


  • Dump half of chicken broth and the rest of ingredients (except green onions) into a slow cooker. Cook on low for 3-4 hours or until cheese is melted. Add more chicken brother for a smoother consistency every hour or so.
  • Ladle into a bowl, garnish with green onions and dip with soft pretzels or chips!
