Pressure Cooker Turkey Breast Recipe

A juicy and flavorful turkey breast made in less than an hour with this easy holiday turkey recipe, all thanks to the Instant Pot.

Ingredients

  • 7 lb bone-in skin-on turkey breast
  • 2 celery stalks
  • 4 garlic cloves peeled
  • 1 medium white or yellow onions peeled and quartered
  • 2 cups chicken broth or stock
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 3/4 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • 2 sprigs fresh thyme
  • 2 sprigs fresh rosemary
  • 2 springs fresh sage

Instructions 

  • Place trivet inside pressure cooker. Add chicken broth, onions, garlic, and celery.
  • Mix olive oil and dry spices to a small bowl until well combined.
  • Remove gravy packet (if necessary) from turkey, and wash turkey thoroughly. Pat dry.
  • Using a brush, cover turkey with the oil/spice mixture. Place turkey, breast side up, into the pressure pot. Attach and lock lid, and set to "POULTRY" setting (or high) for 35 minutes.
  • After cooking, let turkey breast naturally release until lid is unlocked.
  • optional: if you want to crisp up the skin, place turkey breast in a roasting pan and broil at 445 degrees until desired
