Roll out crescent roll dough out onto lightly floured surface. Press seams together.
Spread sausage with a knife all over top of dough, leaving about 1/2-inch space free on the edges all around.
Roll up jelly-roll style, starting with a long side; pinch seam to seal.
Slice into 1/2-inch thickness and place on lightly greased baking sheet, about 1-inch apart to allow for expanding. Bake in preheated oven for 15 to 17 minutes, or until golden brown.
