Ingredients
▢
1
cup
frozen strawberries
▢
1/4
cup
granulated sugar
▢
Heart shaped mold or ice cube tray
▢
1
bottle champagne
▢
2
champagne flutes
Instructions
In a medium sauce pan, add the frozen strawberries. Heat over low/medium heat until the strawberries turn soft like a soup. (This takes about 6 to 8 minutes).
Add sugar and stir. Cook foam additional 5 minutes, stirring frequently.
Remove from heat and cool for 5 minutes.
Pour the cooled strawberry mixture into a food processor and purée.
Pour the purée into a strainer to get rid of all of the small seeds.
Transfer the strained purée to your heart shaped molds or ice cube tray. Freeze for at least 4 hours or overnight.
Add 4-5 frozen strawberry heart cubes to each champagne flute.
Pour champagne into each glass and ENJOY!!
