For today’s recipe, I have a deliciously sweet Valentine’s Day Conversation Heart Oreo Cookie Dessert that is perfect for classroom parties or just because you want to treat yourself (or a loved one, of course).
Valentine's Day Conversation Heart Oreo Cookie Dessert Recipe
Ingredients
- 2 Cookie molds
- 12 Regular Oreo cookies
- 2/3 cup Wilton dark cocoa melts
- 2/3 cup Wilton white chocolate melts
- 1/4 cup Wilton lavender melts
- 1/4 cup Wilton pink chocolate melts
- 1/4 cup Wilton blue chocolate melts
- 12 conversation hearts candies
Instructions
- Line a cookie sheet with wax or parchment paper and set aside.
- In a microwave-safe bowl, microwave the dark cocoa chocolate melts for 45 seconds. Remove from microwave and stir. Continue to microwave in 10-second increments until melted and smooth.
- Fill 2 of the cookie molds with 2 tablespoons of the melted dark cocoa chocolate. Place an Oreo cookie on top and then spoon additional melted chocolate over each Oreo, up to the top of each mold. Set aside any extra melted chocolate for later use.
- In a microwave-safe bowl, microwave the white chocolate melts for 45 seconds. Remove from microwave and stir. Continue to microwave in 10-second increments until melted and smooth.
- Fill 4 of the cookie molds with 2 tablespoons of the melted white chocolate. Top off with an Oreo cookie and then spoon additional melted white chocolate on top. Set aside any leftover white chocolate for later use.
- In a microwave-safe bowl, microwave the lavender melts for 45 seconds. Stir until melted and smooth.
- Add 2 tablespoons of the melted lavender chocolate to 2 of the cookie molds. Place an Oreo on top and cover with additional lavender chocolate, up to the top of each mold. Set aside any leftover chocolate.
- In a microwave-safe bowl, microwave the pink melts for 45 seconds. Stir until melted and smooth.
- Fill 2 of the molds halfway with the pink melted chocolate. Place an Oreo cookie on top and cover with additional pink chocolate, covering each cookie entirely.
- In a microwave-safe bowl, microwave the blue melts for 45 seconds. Stir until melted and smooth.
- Fill the last two molds halfway with the blue melted chocolate. Top off with an Oreo cookie and spoon additional blue chocolate over each cookie until completely covered.
- Chill the molds for 30 minutes to allow the chocolates to harden.
- Once chilled, gently pop each cookie out of the mold and place on the lined cookie sheet.
- Drizzle each Oreo with leftover melted chocolate (you may have to reheat the chocolate in the microwave) and place a conversation heart on top .
