Dreamy Bathroom Decor and Design!
My home decor daydreams are continuing, and this time we’re headed to one of the smallest rooms in any given house.
I enjoy bathrooms that are simple, minimalistic, cheerful, inviting & homey. Walk-in showers, clawfoot tubs, natural elements, and a lot of while are all things that make me smile!
Follow me!
This room would be fantastic to wake up to — I can just imagine taking a good morning shower & enjoying all that space & light. There’s even a little shelf for your morning tea. I feel energized just looking at it!
What I love: The gorgeous walk-in shower, the tiles, all those plants near the beautiful glass tile wall & the matching green towels.
…
I think this tile play is completely clever. What a neat & quirky way to spice up your shower!
What I love: The classic use of black & white, the pot lights up above the shower & the candles in their recessed shelving.
…
This bathroom is so bright & clean — I think I’d actually be excited at the prospect of scrubbing those tiles!
What I love: The minimal palate, the hex floor tiles & the sheer simplicity.
…
This bathroom just makes me smile! You have to love the cute his/hers design with the blue and pink towels and soap dispensers!
What I love: The whimsical feel, the open sink stands with their chrome legs to match the plumbing, the matching medicine cabinets & that beautiful blue color they’ve chosen for the walls.
…
The pure white/grey tones in this room are incredibly calming and relaxing.
What I love: The simple bowl-like sink, the ledge with its shells and mirror & the textured bath mat.
…
I’d like to soak in this tub for days, reading a book, sipping some wine & staring out that window.
What I love: The tub surround, the wooden elements, the green chandelier (wow!), and the ornate mirror behind the bathtub.
…
This space is especially welcoming, with its pastels and sunlight. I think it would be wonderful to have a claw foot tub which is separate from your shower so that it’s a place of complete relaxation — or play, if you happen to be under the age of 5! I know my 18-month-old would get a kick out of this tub.
What I love: The wide-open window with its unique shape, the little wooden tub-side stool, the sherbet orange accents & the white wooden walls.
…
This space, minus the unexpected touch of the feminine shower curtain, is decidedly masculine, which to me makes the perfect space for any chic couple.
What I love: The checkerboard flooring, the gorgeous round window looking out of the walk-in shower, the bust resting in the windowsill, the subway tiles, the ceramic sink and the vintage-looking drawer pulls.
…
What a brilliant way to show off a collection! This particular bathroom is located in a weekend home — one which is seaside, I would imagine!
What I love: The complementary relationship between the brass fixtures and the beautiful blue walls and the way that the brass coloring matches the sand starfish.
…
Lastly, this little powder room is cheerful, cute, and makes me feel happy!
What I love: The bright yellow mirror (spray painted!), the bowl sink (I’ve swooned after these for years), the dark cabinetry with the sweet yellow & white pulls, and the extremely subtle “bee” theme — the towel has little insects, the yellow is obvious and the soap dispenser reminds me of a beehive.
…
I hope you’ve enjoyed this little bathroom tour! There’s a big part of me that is dying to tear ours apart and start from scratch right now (though I’m sure our landlord wouldn’t appreciate that so much). Which room is your favorite? What’s your ideal bathroom style? Have you ever renovated on your own?
Leave your answers to the questions — I’d love to hear from you!

Stayed tuned for my next “In My Dream…” series post where we’ll be taking a look at some swanky, sophisticated & super stylish bedrooms!

Without a doubt I love the first Bathroom. The “what seems to be” glass wall, the plants, it’s seems we are inside a greenhouse. I wish my bathrooms had natural light to put some plants in there.
I love the second one! But I would give anything to have the sea shell shelf bathroom! I REALLY love that one
I love the first one, too. I love earth tones in general and that green is divine. I also like having real plants in the shower-feels like you’re outside.
Great tour!
i love the idea of plants in the bathroom. i have bamboo in mine and wish i had room for more!
My other favorite is the yellow mirror.
great post desiree!

they’re all wonderful. the first is super relaxing and spa-ish
I think every bathroom should be spa-ish, don’t you think? Makes me want to redo mine. 🙂
I love the first one the best just like most everyone!! I could spend all day in that bathroom! I’m actually jealous of most bathrooms since I can stand in the middle of mine and touch every single wall its so small. All of the bathrooms that have the country theme I think are gorgeous! There is so much you can do with a bathroom!
I blog quite often and I seriously thank you for your content. This great article has really peaked my interest. I am going to book mark your website and keep checking for new information about once a week. I subscribed to your Feed too.
Thanks so much!!
Awe, thank you! 🙂
Natural stone tiles can be beautiful but as a natural product they are less uniform in color and pattern, and require more planning for use and installation. Mass-produced stone tiles are uniform in width and length. Granite or marble tiles are sawn on both sides and then polished or finished on the facing up side, so that they have a uniform thickness.`,
