Baked Blueberry Oatmeal
Today, I wanted to share a delicious baked blueberry oatmeal recipe that is sweet, warm and just...perfect!
Ingredients
- 1 3/4 cups old-fashioned oats
- 1/2 cup light brown sugar
- 3/4 cup skim milk
- 3 tablespoons melted butter
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 3/4 cup fresh blueberries
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350F.
- Combine oats, brown sugar, milk, butter, egg, baking powder, cinnamon, salt and vanilla, mixing well.
- Place oatmeal mixture in a lightly greased 8- x 8-inch metal baking dish. Bake in preheated oven 20 to 25 minutes or until edges are golden brown. Let cool 15 minutes before serving. Cut into squares or serve in bowls.

Is it possible to use less brown sugar or maybe even the truvia brown sugar (I think they make brown sugar. Correct me if I am wrong)
I haven’t tried it, but I believe it should work!
