Back To School Must-Haves
Planning to start your back to school shopping soon? I remember this being my FAVOURITE time of year when I was little — actually, I STILL love shopping for stationary and organizational items… I could spend hours at our local office supply shop. Despite the fact that I graduated university nearly seven years ago, September still feels like the start of the year to me.
Now it’s a little different — I get to shop for my own little girl! She’s excited to stock up on her own back to school items and I can’t wait to help her pick out her very first indoor shoes, lunch box, and pencil case! If you see me crying in the paper aisle, you’ll know why.
Here are a few of my top choices for the back to school shopping season — whether this is your little one’s first year, fifth year, or more!
Back To School Must-Haves
I adore Herschel brand backpacks. Definitely my first choice for a durable, classic style. They make adult sizes, as well as child and youth.
Try this adorable pouch from Zakka Studio for keeping pens and pencils tidy.
Make lunch fun! My daughter spotted these bento lunch boxes Chapters Indigo this weekend and was really excited about the idea of taking a lunch to school each day — and I’m excited to make them! Be sure to check out this post filled with Bento box idea for kids AND adults!
Moleskine notebooks have my been go-to notebooks for years. I love the quality of the pages and the variety of styles they come in. I tend to go for the journal style with the soft spine. My daughter like the blank paged books for drawing. They also make a great planner for the older kids.
And last but not least, a sweet tabby cat lunch bag A Little Lark.
What’s your your back to school shopping list this year?
