DIY Halloween Plastic Jack-O-Lantern Pumpkin Lights
Illuminate your Halloween with our Plastic Pumpkin Lights, transforming ordinary plastic pumpkins into spooky charms for your outdoor decor.
What is it about Halloween that makes it so fun?
Is it the chance to live in a spooky world for one night (or many nights if you live in my home)?
Is it the opportunity to eat loads of candy?
The chance to dress up like a monster?
Whatever the secret to the sauce is, Halloween has got it right in my spellbook. And I know my kids would agree.
Halloween is also a holiday where safety plays a number one role, and this is something that my family takes very, very seriously. Let’s just think about Halloween night for a second, shall we?
The neighborhood is crowded with trick-or-treaters.
Kids are in awkward costumes.
Parents are keeping track of their children while sneaking candy out of their buckets (or is that just me).
It’s DARK.
Really dark, so it’s really important to light things up.
Lucky for me, this year I have partnered with Energizer® to help keep Halloween evening safe, with just the right amount of brightness. In fact, I put together a fun (and super easy) DIY that you can do this Halloween to light up your porch or sidewalk!
For this easy (and I mean EASY) DIY project, I’m using the Energizer® Weatheready® 360º LED Area Light, which is pretty smart to have around this time of year, too.
Simply place the Energizer® Weatheready® 360º LED Area Light or similar light, inside of an inexpensive plastic jack-o-lantern and you have a spooky, but safe outdoor light!
Place a few jack-o-lanterns in a row to make your walkway even more festive and bright for trick-or-treaters.
And when Halloween is over, you have a tough light ready for the unpredictable weather that winter can bring. Having one of these lights in the car isn’t a bad idea, either.
