50 Stocking Stuffer Ideas For Kids!
When I was little, it was the tradition every Christmas morning to creep down the stairs, oh so quietly, to see what Santa had left in our living room. I can remember, quite vividly, the rush and the magic of seeing gifts laid out under the tree, and stockings packed with goodies. Mine was made of a sweater-like material — completely stretched and stuffed! After sneaking a glimpse to see that Santa and Rudolph had nibbled at the treats we left out the night before, I’d make my way to my mother’s bedroom where I’d gently wake her and hope that she wouldn’t tell me it was too early to get up. Between about 6.30 and 7 am, however, she’d give in and head to the kitchen to make coffee — not unlike my current Christmas morning routine with my own daughter!
Next, once the coffee was poured, I was allowed to open my stocking — and when my brother was born, we’d open our stockings together while the grownups, often my gramma too, would sip their coffee, and, well, wake up the rest of the way. I always loved that calm and peaceful holiday morning scene — me pulling one item out of my stocking at a time and my mother offering commentary. She was so good at making the holiday season feel special and completely magical. And now I do my best to stir up those same feelings about Christmas with my soon-to-be 6-year-old, who also loves opening up her stocking first thing on Christmas morning.
This is all my way of saying that the stocking is a super important part of my holiday experience and today I wanted to share 50 ideas for when you’re stuffing your kids’ stockings this year! Have fun, keep it simple, and may your Christmas morning coffee be deliciously strong!

as a kid I always got a clementine orange in the toe of my stocking. We also got candy canes and hot chocolate mix.
Great ideas
I’m putting in swim goggles this year.
Nice!
