Crescent Roll Bacon, Egg, and Cheese Breakfast Ring Recipe
This Crescent Roll Bacon Breakfast Ring is loaded with bacon, red & green bell peppers, eggs, and cheddar cheese!
If you follow this blog you know that I love to entertain, so you might imagine that I especially love the holiday season. But like a lot of hosts and hostesses, I sometimes find that I’m spending too much time preparing to have fun and not enough time having fun. This holiday season, I’m determined to create some new traditions that give me time to relax with my family.
On both Thanksgiving and Christmas Eve morning I find that I waste a lot of time with people rummaging through my kitchen looking for something for breakfast. It sounds silly, but it actually really throws me off my game to have people trying to eat breakfast when I’m trying to get ready for company. So, this year I’m making this Crescent Bacon Breakfast Ring.
Crescent Bacon Breakfast Ring Recipe
Ingredients
- 1 can refrigerated crescents rolls 8
- 8 slices of cooked bacon
- ½ red bell pepper chopped
- ½ green bell pepper chopped
- 6 eggs 1 for egg wash
- 1 cup cheddar cheese shredded
- salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
- Beat 5 eggs in a large bowl, then stir in chopped peppers. Season with salt and pepper (to taste). Scramble eggs in a skillet and set to the side.
- Unroll each crescent roll on parchment paper-lined baking sheet, in a star shape.
- On each crescent roll, lay a piece of cooked bacon, sprinkle half of the shredded cheese around the ring. Add scrambled eggs on top of cheese around the ring, then top with remainder of the cheese.
- Fold crescent rolls over, then brush rolls with the egg wash.
- Bake for 20 minutes or until the crescents are cooked and golden brown!
My hope is that if I make something delicious for breakfast, I can set it out in the dining room and people can help themselves, allowing me to finish making dinner, and who knows, maybe even have a little time to watch the parade, too! As a child, I always loved watching the parade in my pajamas and I’d like to recapture a little bit of that lazy feeling again.
I already mentioned that if I have extra time on Thanksgiving, I’m going to spend it watching the parade. What would you do with an extra 30 minutes during the holidays? Share your thoughts in the comments!

My family would love this!
I made these crescent s for a late breakfast. I sautéed bell peppers and onions in a small amount of butter then added the eggs and scrambled. I used precooked bacon and put 2 strips on each crescent and sprinkled with sharp cheddar cheese before adding my egg mixture. They were easy to make and just delicious. My crescent ring was definitely not as pretty as yours but not bad for a first try. Thank you for sharing your recipe.
Thanks for the recipe! It was good and now I know!
