Bacon Cheeseburger Dip Recipe
This Bacon Cheeseburger Dip is a great combo of flavors and feels like a meal in a snack food. Perfect for football parties!
Just because the holidays are over doesn’t mean it’s time to stop entertaining. Sometimes I feel like I see my family the most in November and December, but January-March is all about friends. There are so many different opportunities to entertain from professional championship games to sitting on the sidelines at a kid’s soccer game.
My new obsession for entertaining is this Bacon Cheeseburger Dip! It’s such a great combo of flavors and feels like a meal in a snack food. Here’s how I do it.
Bacon Cheeseburger Dip Recipe
Ingredients
- 8 oz. ground beef
- 2 slices of bacon
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese about 8 oz.
- 1 cup mayonnaise
- 1/2 cup sour cream
Instructions
- Brown ground beef and bacon in 10-inch nonstick skillet over medium to high heat, stirring occasionally and breaking into small pieces, about 4 minutes; drain. Season, if desired, with salt and pepper.
- Reduce heat to medium to low, then stir in cheese, mayonnaise and sour cream.
- Cook, stirring frequently, 6 minutes or until cheese is melted. Turn into a shallow 2-quart dish.
- optional: top with tomato, onion, bacon and, if desired, pickle chips.
