If you have trouble finding blackberry vodka where you live, if you plan ahead you can make it yourself as seen at A Thrifty Mrs, or you can substitute another blackberry liquor of your liking. Bottoms up!

 

Blackberry Lime Cocktail Recipe

Ingredients

  • 8-10 blackberries reserve 2-3 for garnish
  • 1 can lemon lime soda you can substitute club soda if you like
  • 1-2 slices of lime
  • pinch of lime zest + juice from one squeeze of a lime don't use ALL of the juice from a lime. Just one squeeze
  • 1 shot 1.5 fl. ounce blackberry vodka (or other blackberry liquor)
  • optional: ice
  • for garnish: cocktail pick

Instructions 

  • Add the clean blackberries to the bottom of the cocktail glass. (Remember to reserve a few for garnish)
  • Muddle the blackberries to break them up a bit. Pour a chilled can of lemon lime soda over the blackberries. Add the vodka and ice and gently stir.
  • Zest a small portion of the lime. Cut a few thin slices of lime. Add one to the side of the glass for garnish. Add a pinch of zest to the drink, along with one squeeze of remaining lime half. Use a cocktail pick to skewer the reserved blackberries and set on the rim of the glass. Serve immediately.
