Easy White Chocolate Blondies Recipe
A blondie is essentially a vanilla brownie. Some recipes call for butterscotch chips, but I wanted to go with white chocolate this time!
I was in the kitchen for an unusual amount of time this week. Baking. Tons. Of. Baking.
I had several recipe creations to put together for Duncan Hines, which felt overwhelming at first, but once I was whipping together new desserts I found it somewhat calming and inspiring.
It had been a LONG time since I’d had a good blondie. If you are not familiar with a blondie, it is essentially a vanilla brownie. Some recipes call for butterscotch chips, but I wanted to go with white chocolate this time because, well, I had a few bags on hand.
The first batch was a disaster. The batter was way too thick and burned almost instantly. So, I researched some recipes online and found one on Cooks.com that sounded easy and included cake mix. The recipe also didn’t require brown sugar, which was a bonus for me since I didn’t have any in the pantry anyway.
The result? AMAZING and so, so simple. I hope you enjoy them as well.
