Brick Wall Home Decor Style
The space where I teach my childbirth education classes is absolutely gorgeous. The most stunning feature is a completely redone, exposed brick wall that spans the entire length of the room, and I and just giddy to be near it. Despite the fact that it’s not a currently dished about trend, I think there’s something to be said for the classic staying power of the exposed brick wall. I don’t think it’ll ever get boring and I doubt my tastes will ever change. Delicious!
Here are a few examples that make me ultra happy:
I’m practically twitching with the urge to tear down some plaster. I actually DO have a bit of exposed brick in my own home, just one column, in my daughter’s bedroom. It’s been painted white, and I’m often curious about what may be hiding beneath that paint. Ah well, renting as we do, I’m not about to get TOO crazy.
Have you ever uncovered an exposed brick wall? On purpose OR accidentally? Do you dig the look at all?

we had a brick fireplace in an old house that someone has poorly painted bright white lacquer, it broke my heart everytime i looked at it
I love the look of that space! We don’t use brick in our homes in Miami, it’s all concrete block, but I’ve always dreamed of having a house like that, with a nice, red brick wall in the living room!
Oh my goodness I just LOVEEEE this!!!!

love these! I have an entire room of exposed brick as well as a brick counter top & floors in our main bathroom. They’re my favorite rooms in my house!
Ooh, I’m just about to do up an attic bedroom and I really want to have exposed brick but painted white, with some shelves put up. These photos definitely show that I’m onto a good idea, some of them look so nice! I
