Ingredients

  • 12 frozen dinner rolls I used Rhodes brand
  • 4 Tablespoons butter melted
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  • Lightly coat your iron skillet with butter.  Place 12 frozen rolls in the skillet, leaving space in between each roll for expansion.
  • Cover with plastic wrap and keep skillet at room temperature. Allow rolls to double in size (this takes about 4 hours).
  • Once the rolls have doubled in size, preheat oven to 400°.
  • Microwave the butter in a microwave safe bowl until melted.  Add the Italian seasoning, garlic powder and salt.  Whisk to combine.
  • Brush the melted seasoned butter on top of the rolls.
  • Bake for 10 minutes.
  • Remove from oven and sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese on top of the rolls.  Place back in the oven and bake for an additional 5 minutes or until golden brown.
