7 St. Patrick’s Day Sweet Desserts
In honor of St. Patrick’s Day, we’ve rounded up some delicious rainbow and green desserts from across the web!
What is St. Patrick’s Day?
St. Patrick’s Day, celebrated on March 17th, honors Ireland’s patron saint—who, fun fact, wasn’t even Irish! He was born in Britain, kidnapped by pirates, and later returned to Ireland as a priest. Legend says he even drove out all the snakes (though there probably weren’t any to begin with).
Today, it’s a global celebration of all things Irish—parades, music, green everything, and of course, festive food and drinks. So whether you’re Irish or just joining in for the fun, it’s the perfect day to wear green, hunt for shamrocks, and soak up the luck of the Irish! 🍀
