In Volume One – Issue Two of Penzeys One Magazine I ran across a simple yet intriguing recipe for Banana Smoothies. It is a perfect, refreshing drink and a great way to sneak in some calcium and fruit into your kiddie’s menu.
Oh, and for those who were wondering like I was, the secret to these Banana Smoothies is a small addition of almond extract.

I was wondering what the secret was! I’ll have to try this recipe. Have you ever tried avocado/banana combo in smoothies? So delicious! Try that with cinnamon, spinach, and certified low glycemic vanilla meal replacement powder.
