Unicorn Horn Rainbow Cupcake Recipe
These multi-colored unicorn cupcakes covered with a TON of sprinkles and a shiny gold horn are simply magical.
Ingredients
for cupcakes:
- 1 box of white cake mix
- vegetable oil look for box for measurements
- water look for box for measurements
- egg whites look for box for measurements
- 1 jar of white frosting
- neon food coloring
- colorful SPRINKLES!
- colorful sugar
- sugar pearls

Instructions
for cupcakes:
- Pre-heat over to 400 degrees F. Prepare cake mix as directed, using the egg whites option.
- Divide batter into 4 bowls and add food coloring to each.
- Line cupcake pan with liners. Layer colored batter, filling the cups 2/3-3/4 full. Bake for 15-17 minutes (check with toothpick). Let cool completely.
- Color frosting using neon food coloring. Using a piping bag, frost cupcakes, then cover with colorful sprinkles and sugar.
- Insert gold unicorn horn & enjoy!
for unicorn horns:
- Roll gum paste into a small ball, then roll into a long tube.
- Fold at the center of the tube and shape into a point. Twist the two tubes around each other. Press gently to help keep the shape.
- Flatten the joined ends. On a covered surface, spray the horn with gold color mist. Let dry before inserting into the cupcake.
