Why I am going to India.
Coca-Cola is sponsoring my travel, accommodations, and other expenses for my trip to India.
Coca-Cola is sending me and a handful of bloggers to various parts of India to witness the work they are doing for women, children, and communities. I will be reporting what I see and learn while visiting, using #5by20 on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.
During our visit, we will be:
- observing how an estimated 131,000 women are benefiting in communities such as those in New Delhi, Jaipur, Ahmedabad, Dasna, and Bangalore
- visiting the Soda Village and the Splash Bar, which are among the initiatives that Coca-Cola is leading to empower women and rejuvenate village reservoirs
- by interacting with women engaged in Coca-Cola’s programs and initiatives
I leave this weekend for the very long trek to Bangalore. I could use your positive thoughts, prayers, and energy for my journey.
