Green Peppermint Patty Cocktail Drink Recipe

I am a big believer in having a cocktail (or mocktail for the non-drinkers) for every holiday. Because it’s fun and special. And it gives me a good reason to be creative.
So, for St. Patrick’s Day coming up, I thought, “Why not put a Peppermint Patty into a drink?” So, it happened.

Green Peppermint Patty Cocktail Drink Recipe
For St. Patrick's Day coming up, I thought, "Why not put a Peppermint Patty into a drink?" So, it happened.
Ingredients
- 5-6 ice cubes
- 2 oz half and half cream
- 2 oz Chocolate Cake Vodka
- 2 oz Peppermint Liqueur
- 2 oz Baileys Irish Cream liqueur
- 2 oz Creme De Menthe
- 2 York peppermint patties - chilled
- Garnish - chocolate shavings and whipped cream
Instructions
- With a knife, cut a wedge halfway into each chilled peppermint patty. Set aside. (The chilling will allow the candy to stand firm on the martini rim)
- Grate 3-4 Tablespoons of chocolate from a chocolate bar and set aside for garnish.
- Add the ice, half and half cream, chocolate cake vodka, peppermint liqueur, Baileys Irish Cream and the Creme de Menthe to a cocktail shaker. Secure the lid tightly.
- Shake, shake, shake!
- Remove lid and strain into 2 martini glasses.
- Place a peppermint patty on the rim of each martini glass.
- Add 1 tablespoon of whipped cream in the middle of each cocktail and sprinkle with chocolate shavings. ENJOY!!
