Christmas Advent Calendar Styles
It’s that time of year again! On December 1st my daughter ran to grab her little advent calendar from its place perched in the living room and nearly jumped to the roof with excitement to open her first little drawer. I remember very clearly, the advent calendar my mother had for me as a child — it was made of felt and had numbered pockets. Each day I’d move the little mouse marker to the correct spot and claim my treat inside. I LOVED when there were little Santa chocolates to nibble on — even first thing in the morning, she’d let me have my tiny treat. Such fond memories of watching the countdown til Christmas. I loved that first tangible sign of the season!
Here are a few fun ideas to bring the advent calendar tradition alive in your own home!

I just love that second one, it’s so unique!
I know, that one is my favorite as well. I could totally see that in my house. 🙂
