It is hard to go wrong when you are dealing with pecans and chocolate. Most of the ingredients in this recipe are ones that we have on hand at all times, so it is great for a spur-of-the-moment sweet treat.

- 3/4 cup light corn syrup
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips Original recipe calls for 2 cups

Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350. Line bottom and sides of a 9×13 inch baking pan with aluminum foil.
- In the bowl of an electric mixer, beat 1 stick room-temp butter, brown sugar, flour, and salt until coarse crumbs form. Pour mixture into prepared pan; press firmly into bottom.

I am making these right now. They look SO yummy. It took quite a bit less time for the crust to bake for me. More like 15 minutes. Now I have it back in the oven with the pecan/chocolate part and it smells really good
Fabulous!
We just LOVE these!!

I have made these many times already. They are super easy and a real crowd pleaser! Thanks for sharing!
Will these freeze well?
Great dessert! My go to for the holidays…easier to serve than pecan pie. My family loves it! It’s the perfect amount of sweetness!
