Don’t you mean 3 Tablespoons of butter rather than teaspoons. Watching the video, looks like 3 Tbs to me…
Yes, 3 tbsp is what I meant! Thank you for catching that. I just updated the recipe.
This was AWESOME! So fast, easy and best of all delicious
I added cubed ham and it was just perfect.
Thanks!
Yay!
Just got this crockpot. Tried to put steam on for 4 minutes but it would let me only put 1 minute. What am I doing wtong
I have an 8 quart instant pot. Does that matter? Would it be the same?
I believe that is what I have, so should work perfectly!
Made this tonight and it waa awesome. Very creamy and loaded with cheese. Will be making again.
Yay! I’m so glad you enjoyed it! I love how easy it is. 🙂
I just bought our crock pot yesterday and I was anxious to try the mac and cheese recipe. After the 4 minutes was up and I released the steam, there was still a lot of water left in the pan. What did I do wrong?
Hmmmm, did you buy the same model I’m using?
Any experience with doubling the recipie? How long would it take?
I’ve never tried it!
Hi I tried a crock pot Mac and cheese recipe that was a slow cook one and it came out very gritty. Is this one like that at all? Cause I think the cheese didn’t get hot enough to melt all the way.
This particular recipe is for an Instant Pot/Pressure Cooker, so a slow cooker wouldn’t result in the same outcome.
This was so easy, my first successful Crock Pot XL recipe I made! Thank you! I did need to add a little more milk, but it is fabulous!
Yay!
Will this work with regular milk? I don’t have evaporated milk on hand.
I haven’t tried it, but I would *think* that it would work?
