Roasted Pumpkin Seeds 6 Ways
Recipes I’ve found for roasted pumpkin seeds — I’m dying to try them this fall, although I don’t know if I can carve that many pumpkins!
When I was little, carving the pumpkin was a BIG event at my house. My mom would lay newspaper and a big garbage bag out on the living room floor and I’d get to work, scooping out the pumpkin guts, designing my pumpkin, and carving it out — with help, of course! We also roasted up pumpkin seeds, a tradition I’m happy to carry on with my own daughter because they are SUPER delicious!
Today I wanted to share some of the yummy recipes I’ve found for roasted pumpkin seeds — ones I’m dying to try this year, although I have no idea if I’d be able to carve that many pumpkins… but I could try!
Salted Caramel Pumpkin Seeds: I don’t usually go for a sweet taste when I’m doing my roasted pumpkin seeds, but this recipe might just convince me that it’s the way to go. Salt + caramel = DELISH! (via Ribas With Love)
Spicy Toasted Pumpkin Seeds: If you’re into spice, you’ll probably love these! They’re made with a kick of cayenne and garlic. (via She Wears Many Hats)
Honey Roasted Pumpkin Seeds: Hello, delicious sticky honey goodness! I know I’d love this recipe, but I have a feeling it should be eaten with a pile of napkins by your side. (via The Clever Carrot)
Spicy Honey Roasted Squash Seeds: Even if you’re not pumpkin people, you can still rock out the roasted seed recipes using a different squash instead. YUM. (via Coffee and Quinoa)
Cinnamon Pumpkin Seeds: If sweet cinnamon is more your style, you’ll love these. I bet they taste like a certain sweet and cinnamon cereal we were all obsessed with as kids — but much healthier! (via Simply, Taralynn)
Bacon Roasted Pumpkin Seeds: Oh yes, they had me at bacon. I’d never have thought to combine these magical ingredients, but now I need to try it. (via The Gunny Sack)
