One of my all-time favorite salads is one that my grandma made that she calls “Cheery Cherry JELL-O Salad.” It was my favorite dessert salad she made as a kid. And cheery it is!
This tropical fruit salad recipe includes Raspberry Jello and Cherry Jello, cherry pie filling, crushed pineapples, and Cool Whip or whipped topping before serving. THE BEST.

Cherry Pineapple JELL-O Salad Recipe
Ingredients
- 1 small box raspberry Jell-O mix
- 1 small box cherry Jell-O mix
- 1 21 oz can cherry pie filling
- 1 20 oz can crushed pineapple drained
- for topping: whipped topping (Cool Whip)
Instructions
- COOK both boxes of Jell-O according to instructions.
- Let cool until mixture is thick, then pour Jell-O into a 9x13 inch dish.
- ADD cherry pie filling and crushed pineapple. (make sure pineapple is drained)
- Let Jell-O salad cool in the refrigerator overnight.
- Add whipped topping when serving!
