Everyone knows the best part of winter is getting cozy and the best way to get cozy is with hot chocolate. I’ve always loved Swiss Miss as a great winter indulgence, that doesn’t leave me feeling like I’ve over-indulged.

It’s been really chilly here and I’ve been loving having my moments of peace when I wake up in the morning before everyone else, watch the snow sprinkle down and enjoy a mug for myself. This little amount of time where I get to pause everything and look around – sometimes 10 minutes, sometimes a full hour – really makes me appreciate having all four seasons here, something I sometimes take for granted during the hustle and bustle of the holiday season.

  • 1 box chocolate pudding mix

  • 1 cup mini semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 2 tablespoons Swiss Miss hot chocolate mix (any flavor)

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease a 9x13-inch pan and set aside.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the pudding mix and milk. Stir in the cake mix and 2 cups of marshmallows and chocolate chips.
  3. Remove from oven and sprinkle with remaining marshmallows and the hot chocolate mix and allow to cool in the pan for 1 hour before serving.
