2-Ingredient Peanut Butter Chocolate Truffles Recipe
With only two ingredients, peanut butter cookie dough, and milk chocolate chips, these Peanut Butter Chocolate Truffles are the perfect indulgent bite!
Most of us have indulged in chocolate truffles, but what about peanut butter truffles? In my opinion, they are even better than straight chocolate and need more love.
I mean, peanut butter plus chocolate is really a no-brainer mix.
So, in my journey to create more 2-ingredient recipes, I have a new one for you today: 2-Ingredient Peanut Butter Chocolate Truffles. I promise these will be the best homemade chocolate truffles (with peanut butter) you’ve ever had!
Yes, there are only two ingredients—peanut butter cookie dough and chocolate chips. That’s it, and you won’t believe how delicious these high-quality truffles are with such little ingredients!
My son helped me create this recipe, which requires you to use your hands to shape the cookie dough into a ball (it’s always fun for a kid to get their hands into baking). We had the best time laughing and bonding while doing it.
Look how pretty these peanut butter truffles look when the chocolate is melted…

2-Ingredient Peanut Butter Chocolate Truffles Recipe
Ingredients
- 1 16.5oz tube of refrigerated peanut butter cookie dough
- 1 12oz bag of milk chocolate chips you can also use dark chocolate chips, if you prefer
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees fahrenheit (176 degrees celsius). Using a cookie scoop or one tablespoon, scoop cookie dough, then shape cookie dough into balls, placing 2 inches apart on a greased cookie sheet.
- Bake 10-11 minutes or until light golden brown (cookies will be undercooked so they can be shaped again into balls). Let cookies cool 5 minutes on baking sheet, then with buttered hands (you can also spray your hands with cooking spray), shape each cookie into a ball. Refrigerate cookies for 10-15 minutes or until completely cooled.
- While cookies are cooling, line a baking sheet with waxed or parchment paper, then set aside.
- In a medium bowl, microwave chocolate chips for 60-90 seconds, stirring until smooth.
- Remove cookies from the refrigerator and dip each ball into melted chocolate using two spoons, making sure to cover each ball entirely. Place each dipped ball on the prepared baking sheet. Refrigerate truffles 10-15 minutes or until set.
