Today we are sharing a delicious grilled shrimp skewer recipe that you will surely want to include at your next group barbecue!

Bang Bang Grilled Shrimp Skewers

Yield: 4 servings

Prep Time: 15 minutes

Cook Time: 4 minutes

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup low-fat mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup Thai sweet red chili sauce
  • 3 drops Sriracha sauce
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 lb. large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1/4 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground pepper
  • 2 (10.5 ounce) Asian slaw mix

 

Directions:

  1. Preheat grill to 350F to 400F (medium high) heat.
  2. In a small bowl combine mayonnaise, chili sauce, Sriarcha and honey, mixing well. Set aside.
  3. Thread shrimp on metal or wooden soaked wooden skewers. Brush evenly with olive oil; season with salt and pepper. Grill shrimp on a lightly greased grill rack, covered with grill lid, 2 minutes per side or until shrimp turn pink. Serve over slaw and drizzle with chili sauce.

Testing note: I used the package Asian slaw mix in the produce section with all of the lettuces and bagged slaws.
