Bento Box Ideas for Kids and Adults

It’s officially August, which means that school is just a few weeks away. (OMG!) My youngest is starting kindergarten this year, all-day kindergarten in fact, so I have been throwing around ideas for his daily lunches. I’ve been in awe of the bento box trend for quite some time, but haven’t given it a go yet. I think now would be a great time to jump in and try it!

As I often do, I turned to my fellow bloggers for bento inspiration and found beautiful work from Rachel Lacy of Following in My Shoes. Today’s post will be highlighting several of her bento lunch ideas, including ideas for adults. I hope you enjoy them as much as I have.

These look fabulous! I haven’t put together such cute lunches yet, but my kids are 1 and 3 so they don’t care much haha! I will HAVE to do this when they get older and would be excited about it!

Such a cool collection of ideas. My daughter is super-into Angry Birds right now; I may have to try some of the things from the Angry Birds Bento box above and see if I can get her to step away from being a picky eater and to try some new foods.

Maybe if you had her help you make it she may try new foods?
