Pink & Fruity Watermelon Margaritas Recipe

Yield: 4 servings

Ingredients:

  • 3 cups watermelon - seeds removed and frozen for at least 30 minutes
  • 1/2 cup tequila
  • 1/4 cup simple syrup
  • 1/4 cup freshly squeezed lime juice
  • Lime wedge and sanding sugar, for rims
  • Watermelon wedges, for garnish

Directions:

1.   Cut out a small wedge from a lime and run the wedge along the rims of your serving glasses.

2.   Pour the sanding sugar into a shallow bowl and dip each rim into the sugar.  Set the glasses aside.  (I actually chilled mine for 15 minutes).

3.   Place the frozen watermelon into a blender.  Add the tequila, simple syrup and lime juice.  Blend for 15 to 20 seconds.

4.   Pour into serving glasses and garnish with a watermelon wedge on each rim.

5.   ENJOY!!
