Ambrosia salad mixes Cool Whip, vanilla pudding, sour cream, marshmallows, pineapples, fruit cocktail, mandarin oranges, & cherries.
Since the weather is beautiful outside, I’ve been thinking about hosting a family and friend cookout soon. Of course, I’ll have burgers, hot dogs, and the like, but I want to start thinking about the best part – the sides!
When I was a kid, my grandmother always had a fruit salad of some kind for family functions and gatherings, but there was one that was my absolute favorite – ambrosia fruit salad! Ambrosia salad is a delicious mix of Cool Whip, vanilla pudding, sour cream, mini marshmallows, pineapples, fruit cocktail, mandarin oranges, and maraschino cherries.
