I have always had a weakness for ice cream. Not even fancy ice cream, either, just plain old vanilla. It’s such a comforting dessert that takes me back to my childhood!

My grandmother often made homemade ice cream using an old churn machine that I would add rock salt to ever so often. As delicious as it was, it took a whole lotta time and maintenance to complete. 

For today’s recipe, I’m cutting out the churning altogether.

  • 1 pint heavy whipping cream
  • 1 (14 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk

2-INGREDIENT ICE CREAM INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Beat heavy cream in a bowl using an electric mixer until soft peaks form; add sweetened condensed milk and beat until thick and well combined.
  2. Transfer mixture to a shallow container and cover with plastic wrap; freeze until solid, about 6 hours.
